Integrated logistics: TSE Express MédicalBiomnis collects and ships samples under controlled temperature conditions via its own logistics company, TSE Express Médical.
TSE Express Médical is ISO 9001-certified and transports your samples in compliance with ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) regulations and the cold chain.
TSE Express Médical provides daily temperature monitoring traceability and route tracking
Sample packaging and collectionSome tests require specific sampling materials or transport media which are supplied by the laboratory free of charge. These items may be ordered from our packaging departments (see Material request form appended).
The samples must be sent in sealed bags classified into 4 test categories (1 bag per patient):
Sample transportationEach air-conditioned collection vehicle is equipped with three controlled-temperature compartments:
The bags are placed in one of the vehicle compartments according to the sample storage conditions. The temperatures are monitored during the shipping phase from the collection point to the local logistic site by means of three systematic readings a day. Within the scope of quality control, a copy of the vehicle temperature reading sheet is available as required and on request.
At the local logistic site, the bags are placed in approved containers of various capacities (4, 8, 15 or 49-litre poolbox) and are stored in controlled-temperature rooms with remote monitoring.
They are then shipped in vehicles equipped with refrigerated cells (-30°C, +22 °C, +4°C). In this case, the temperatures are monitored during shipping from the local logistic site to the Laboratory by electronic recorders (continuous display in vehicle cab). Within the scope of quality control, a temperature graph is available as required and on request.
On delivery to the Laboratory, the samples are placed in cold stores at the appropriate temperature. Samples to be stored at -30°C (e.g. haemostasis) are kept frozen during the sorting, registration and distribution stages in the technical departments by means of rack boxes filled with dry ice and a dedicated sorting table making it possible to keep samples at the required temperature. |
