Building the future of Biomnis together

Dear Colleagues,

 

The forthcoming year is a fundamental year for the future of our profession. With the implementation of the new French medical pathology harmonization reform dated 13 January 2010, the regulatory framework is evolving and requires us all to reflect on the organisation and developmental strategies of our work.

 

This reform is the product of many months of brainstorming and debates by all the representatives of our profession. It is based on several principles:

 

 

 

 

  • That medical pathology is an essential part of the care process, from diagnosis of the majority of pathologies to therapy.

  • To increase medical input into pathology testing: by working together with the physician, the medical pathologist should be involved in the entire patient journey (‘medical pathology examination’).

  • To constitute a system of quality assurance on the basis of an accreditation regime for medical pathology laboratories. 

  • To aim to continue to offer medical pathology in our current health fields and to be dedicated towards the regionalisation of our organisation.


For all of us, this involves major changes. For Biomnis in particular this new regulatory framework leads us to envisage new types of collaboration with our customers. This train of thought strongly commits us to exploring all possible leads that could drive us towards a successful future together.

This reform reinforces our commitment to our customers. More than ever, our ambition remains the reinforcement of our capacity to accompany you in your daily practice. We can rely on what have always been our strengths: experience, quality infrastructure, physician expertise, our permanent striving capacity towards innovation, our management of support functions and our commitment to investment in all our staff. Our sister company ‘TSE Express Médical’, which provides inter laboratory logistics is now a major strategic asset when faced with the quality assurance requirements that today extend into the pre-analytical phase.

We are convinced that Biomnis, more than anyone else, can go beyond this benchmark and create made-to-measure solutions with you by our side.

For over 100 years, Biomnis has accompanied you on your missions and builds on its own success thanks to the trust that you place in us. I know that we will consolidate all that we have built together. I strongly believe that our mutual success grows from the preservation of our independence, guaranteeing the balanced and free relationship that we have always had. Such is the ethos that we present today.
